Not surprisingly, as with any diet protocol that is successful, there is much discussion about hCG. At this time in the U.S. a prescription is required if you were to go to a pharmacy to get hCG. Although many doctors can and do write prescriptions for hCG, such as to assist in fertility, most doctors have never heard of using hCG for weight loss.
